Create or Edit a Song

For creating a new song, you can click on Menu and then choose New.

After that, you can click on Edit to start creating the song. The first step is to Edit the Song Properties.

  • Song Properties: There you will be able to set the Song Information and Properties. Just click on the desired field and type the information that you want: Name, Author, Artist, Copyright and also add any Comments you might need.

You can also set the song properties: Standard tone for the song (C, Cm, C# ...), the measure (ternary or quaternary) and the granularity (4 or 8 chords per measure).

It is also possible to set the volume of the guitar sound by sliding the volume bar. This can be useful when you have MIDI tracks and want to have the guitar sound higher than other instruments.

  • Lyric: On this screen, you can type the lyric with the chords. You must use one line for the chords (grey pattern) and the other for the lyric (blue pattern).

You can also import the lyric from other software or from a website and paste it.

If you want the song to have karaoke-style lyric selection while playing, you need to use the "Mark Syllables" button. In the Mark Syllables windows, you will see the lyric of the song. You need to mark each Syllable, by separing them with "/", just like how the song is singed.

After marking all the Syllables, you will need to record the tempo for each one of it. Do that by pressing the "Record" button.

The software will start playing the song. You have to press space for changing from each syllable to the next one. Try to record following the melody of the song. Singing the song while recording makes this task easier.

  • Styles: This screen enables you to set how each chord is played, by choosing the styles and patterns on the chord grid.

This enables you to move elements, navigate and get the item properties (right click)

This lets you insert or edit Chords, Tempos and Styles

This lets you remove the elements from the chord grid.

Use this to set the end of the song
