History

D'Accord Music Software develops music technology, providing tools and applications to help you learna variety of different musical instruments such as guitar, keyboard and drums.  The company exports software to more than 100 countries.

Born in 2000, it was incubated at RecifeBEAT, part of the Federal University of Pernambuco. The head office is located in Porto Digital, one of the most important and innovative technology parks in Brazil. D'Accord has already received a number of important awards:

• 2009: 1st place at the Finep Innovative Award, in the category Small Business;
• 2008: 2nd place lat the Finep Innovative Award, in the category Small Business;
• 2007: 3rd place lat the Finep Innovative Award, in the category Small Business;
• 2006: 1st place of the Santander Banespa Award of Entrepreneurship, in the Technology category.

In 2007, created MusiGames Studio, a business unit specialising in music game development using the most advanced audio technology.
